I stayed at the Banff Caribou Lodge for two days in November 2025. While not a luxury hotel by any means, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this lodging to Banff visitors. The lobby of the hotel is well decorated. While the rooms are more basic, the rooms have everything a traveler needs except a microwave, which I would not expect. However, the highlight of my stay was the service. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and clearly made an effort to ensure I enjoyed my stay. My check-in experience was great as I was helped by a kind staff member. Furthermore, when I asked the front desk for a mouse pad from my room, a kind staff member offered to lend me hers, and then when I kindly refused, found a spare one and brought it up to my room. The hotel also offers all you need for transportation. The hotel offers free underground parking to guests, and also provides free bus passes to guests for the duration of stay. While I did not use the bus pass as I had a car, they still insisted I take the passes just in case. The only downside was the attached restaurant, The Keg, which is a franchise, did not offer the same staples as other locations such as their three cheese butter and happy hour menu. If able, i would recommend exploring local restaurants in the center of town.

Was nice and cozy. We has the cascade suite. Could use some upgrading. Walls are super thin and you could hear everything in the halls , outside and even other rooms. Took a while to get our room ready. Elevators are creepy. I think lobby coffee should be available most of the day . I found it odd that a spa hotel had the robes to wear to the pools but no slippers.. we clunked down in boots ( elevator floor really dirty. Disposable paper ones are common and cheap . Only spa hotel I've been to that doesn't have them. I find for the prices there could be some extras . Posted are the Cascade suite. 3 nights a little over 2k during Christmas. December 25-28. It is 2 levels. Parking spots in the parking are insane tight as well. The spa was great . Pool and sauna were good too.

stayed at the Caribou lodge quite a few times and its always been very comfortable. breakfast in the Keg is always very tasty. ( try the pancakes, they're brilliant) Had the burger and fries in the Keg thr burger is one of the best i've had . like everywhere the prices have gone up. The only downside was the wi-fi wasn't very good from our room on 2nd floor

I stayed at Banff Caribou Lodge for 4 nights and had a great experience overall. I did a late check-in and had already informed the hotel — the process was smooth and hassle-free. The room was very clean and well-maintained. I had a small issue with the pillows being too large, but when I requested smaller ones, the staff responded immediately and provided them without delay. My flight was rescheduled, so I requested a late checkout. Although my room wasn’t available for an extension, the staff kindly offered to store my luggage until the evening, which was very helpful. I picked up my belongings around 6 PM before heading out. Overall, I’m highly satisfied with the service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Banff.
